Position details

• Location: Scotland 
• Projects: Large-scale infrastructure projects (multi-billion value)
• Sector: Road construction and urban infrastructure projects
• Work model: Hybrid, with regular site visits
• Working hours: 08:00 to 18:00 (local time), with lunch break
• No weekend work required
• Team size: Management of teams ranging from 2 to 8 professionals

Compensation

Salary range: £55,000 to £80,000 per year (GBP) (depending on experience and seniority)

Language

Fluent English is mandatory

Recruitment process

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules for infrastructure projects
• Manage and update project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
• Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with contractual milestones
• Perform delay analysis and assess schedule impacts
• Prepare reports related to planning, risks, and schedule variations
• Ensure alignment between short-term planning and the contractual programme
• Support tender processes and commercial negotiations
• Collaborate closely with engineering, project, and commercial teams
• Support claims preparation and contract variations
• Conduct site progress inspections and compliance reviews

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

Strong experience in:

• Construction planning and control
• Large-scale infrastructure projects
• Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
• Schedule delay analysis
• Risk management in construction projects
• Resource and budget planning
• Civil engineering project management
• Programme management and strategic planning
• Construction contract management
• Heavy civil / infrastructure projects
