Continuous Improvement Specialist

Contributions:

§  Leads and develops local CI activities;

§  Evaluates projects and directs Project Managers and Facilitators to make corrective actions as well as improvements;

§  Support the Planning Analyst to propose the best production plan in order to increase the Operability without failing to serve our customers.

§  Mentors, coaches, trains and develops the line organisation;

§  Assesses the maturity of the organisation and brings the entire organisation to the targeted CI competency level.

§  Analyze operational KPI’s in a daily basis, pointing out the all deviation in terms of quality, volumes, throughput, losses and downtimes.

§  Keep the operations area in line with the digital improvements defined by the head office.

§  Ensures that company values, ethical principles and compliance rules as set out in the Borealis Ethics Policy are integrated in all employment related activities.

Requirements:

• Chemistry, Manufacturing, Production, Mechanical, Electrical or Material Science Engineering Degree;
• Desirable Specialization in different areas of Engineering or Administration;
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools expertise.
• English in advanced level is mandatory.
• Previous experience in the role or similar role or seniority at process area;
• Deep knowledge in continuous improvement and quality tools;
• Sense for HSE – worries with HSE: Show a perception for HSE and worries in assure that all principles and rules been pursue and feeling himself responsible by HSE;
• Proven ability to implement strategic actions plans;
• Ability to define priorities;
• Ability to work in multifunctional teams;
• Good interpersonal relationship;
• Good interface communication;
• Leadership to define directions, engage and inspire people
