We are looking for a Computer Vision Developer who is passionate about technology and innovation to join our team and help drive the development of our artificial intelligence solutions.

Description 

At Altave, you will work on developing computer vision solutions with real impact on the lives of people and companies. Your work will range from proposing new detection algorithms to creating datasets and automating training pipelines. 

We value professionals with a solid grasp of classic and modern AI algorithms — especially Deep Learning — who write clean, testable, and maintainable code. 

You will also have the chance to explore the use of LLMs as a productivity tool, supporting data curation and validating detections generated by models. 

This position is based on-site in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Employment will be structured through an Employer of Record (EOR) with our local partner in Saudi Arabia. 

Responsibilities 

• Develop and integrate computer vision solutions for different real-world scenarios 

• Propose and test new detection and segmentation algorithms 

• Automate training, validation, and inference pipelines for models 

• Generate and annotate datasets for training, proactively requesting images from clients and internal teams and sourcing public datasets 

• Read and apply knowledge from state-of-the-art scientific papers 

• Use LLMs to assist with dataset generation and result validation 

• Ensure code quality through best practices, testing, and peer review 

• Contribute to continuous improvement of development and experimentation processes 

Requirements 

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or related fields 

• Knowledge of image and video processing and Deep Learning applied to Computer Vision 

• Experience programming in Python 

• Basic knowledge of automated software testing 

• Basic knowledge of Linux 

• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and others 

• Code versioning with Git 

• Good programming practices and agile methodologies 

• Intermediate English 

• Valid work visa for Saudi Arabia 

• Availability to start in October 2026 or sooner. 

Nice to have 

• Postgraduate degree, Master's, PhD, or publications in computer vision or AI 

• Experience with cloud computing (AWS, GCP, or Azure) 

• Knowledge of LLM Prompting and use of LLM APIs 

• Basic knowledge of CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.) 

• Basic knowledge of messaging-based systems (RabbitMQ, MQTT, etc.) 

• Experience with Docker 

• Video and image compression 

• Experience with NVIDIA DeepStream
